Crystal Cruise Line Opens New Amsterdam Office

Crystal River Cruises opened a new Amsterdam office November 21, with CEO and President Edie Rodriguez and Vice President Walter Littlejohn present.

The new office will serve as additional operations assistance for its expanding fleet of luxury river yachts, which officially launched in July with Crystal Mozart’s maiden voyage. Amsterdam is a highlight destination on the “Jewels of the Rhine” and “Grand Europe” itineraries planned for Crystal Bach and Crystal Mahler, respectively, for summer of 2017. The city will also be a home port for Crystal Debussy’s 7- and 10- night voyages beginning in April 2018.

In addition to Amsterdam, Crystal Bach and Crystal Mahler will visit Cologne, Koblenz, Antwerp, Basel, Frankfurt, and others throughout Germany, Austria, Netherlands and Switzerland. The two luxury vessels will be the first Rhine Class river yachts in Crystal’s fleet, with Crystal Debussy and Crystal Ravel to follow in 2018. The vessels will be Europe’s first and only all-balcony, all- suite river ships. Guests will enjoy ample space and options aboard the 135-meter river yachts (the maximum size permissible to transit the Main-Danube Canal).

Amenities include: a glass-roofed swimming pool that allows for swimming in any weather conditions; the Palm Court lounge; a full-service spa and separate fitness center; butler service for every suite; and king-sized beds that face the windows, walk-in closets, dual vanity in the bathrooms, ETRO robes and slippers, wall-mounted flat-screen HD TVs, and Nespresso machines in the rooms. Multiple open-seating eateries are also available to the guests, which include the Waterside Restaurant, Bistro cafés, and the exclusive Vintage Room

Voyages for 2017-18 aboard Crystal Mozart, Crystal Bach, Crystal Mahler, Crystal Debussy, and Crystal Ravel are open for booking now.
