The German branch of Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA Germany) has named Hapag-Lloyd Cruises CEO Karl J. Pojer as the new Chairman of its Leadership Council.
With his extensive experience gained in the hospitality and tourism industry, he will further support and accompany CLIA Germany in its function to serve the cruise industry in as effective a way as is possible, Hapag-Lloyd said.
Three years ago CLIA commenced its work in Germany. Since that time the association has established itself as the central point of contact and source of information for cruise and cruising in this country within the industry and also within the consumer marketplace.
