Hapag-Lloyd Cruises Launches 2016 - 2018 Expedition Brochure

Hapag-Lloyd Cruises has released its new November 2016 - February 2018 Hanseatic Expedition Cruises brochure. The cruise line is offering 10 new itineraries in the South Seas, Amazon River, and South and Central America. The brochure also includes four Antarctica and three Arctic cruises. 

The line’s Amazon River cruises will continue in 2017, with the Hanseatic sailing from Iquitos, Peru, to the mouth of the river in the Atlantic

In Antarctica and the Arctic, the Hanseatic will sail seven itineraries, such as the 15-day “Expedition Antarctica: A World of Ice” from December 2 - 17, 2017, roundtrip from Ushuaia, Argentina, and calling at South Georgia, South Shetland Islands, Elephant Island, Half Moon Island, Deception Island, the Antarctic Peninsula and outlying islands. In the Arctic, cruises include the 19-day “In the Wake of Great Explorers” itinerary from August 21 - September 9, 2017, from Kangerlussuaq to Kangerlussuaq and visiting Disko Bay, Storoen, Uummannaq, Baffin Island, Devon Island, Somerset Island, Victoria Strait, Jenny Lind Island, Victoria Island, Cambridge Bay, Peel Sound, Prince of Wales Island, Beechey Island, Baffin Island, and Sisimiut.

Hanseatic’s South and Central America cruise will include a Panama Canal transit.
