Hurtigruten Announces Organizational Changes

Hurtigruten's new North America operation recently relocated its office from Florida to Seattle, Wash., where the company will partner with Global Voyages Group. Hurtigruten will be offering call center, groups, sales and marketing services from one office location in addition to their external sales team members located in major cities around the market. Hurtigruten is attempting to double business from North America over a three year time frame, and has undergone organizational changes to further that goal:

Bo Fridsberg will be retiring from Hurtigruten at the end of March after spending 26 years with the company. Sales director Rolf Logan will be assuming the newly created role of director sales east with responsibility for managing sales in the Eastern Region. In addition to covering the Southeast Region, Rolf is also responsible for assisting and managing two new sales managers for the Northeast and the Mid-Atlantic Territories. Hurtigruten is currently conducting an active search to fill both of these positions.

Deane Motis has been managing Hurtigruten sales in the Western Region for the past three years. In the new organization, Deane assumes the role of director sales west. In addition to covering the Northwest Region, Deane is also responsible to assisting and managing the activities of two new sales managers: Karen Freundlich, sales manager Southern California & Arizona and David Purinton, sales manager Northern California.
