Lynn Torrent to Leave Carnival Cruise Line

lynn torrentLynn Torrent has announced that she will be leaving Carnival Cruise Line at the end of August to pursue other opportunities following a 15-year career with the Carnival organization.

In 2001, Lynn joined Carnival Corporation as VP of marketing services and then in 2005 became president – North and Central America for the Carnival Corp-owned brand Costa Cruises. She became a senior vice president with Carnival Cruise Line in 2008 and was promoted to executive vice president in 2010.

“Lynn has been a key member of the senior leadership team at Carnival Cruise Line and instrumental in elevating our commercial organization,” said Carnival Cruise Line President Christine Duffy in a statement announcing Torrent's departure. “I am extremely grateful for Lynn’s support since I joined Carnival a year ago. Lynn leaves a truly lasting mark on our organization and we are fortunate to have had her as part of the Carnival family.”
