MSC Cruises has installed Wi-Fi Internet access onboard both MSC Opera and MSC Lirica. It is expected to be phased in on MSC's other ships as well. With Wi-Fi capability, guests will be able to connect their laptops and personal PDAs to the Internet at "hot spots" on the ship. On Opera, those include the pool deck, guest reception area, Caruso Lounge, library, patio bar, coffee bar and Sotto Vento Pub. Lirica hot spots include the swimming pools, guest reception area, library, Lirica Lounge, Bar La Pergola, coffee area, Lord Nelson Pub and Le Cabaret. To utilize the service, guests must purchase a prepaid card with a user ID and password from guest reception; they're valid only during the passenger's cruise.
