MSC Cruises Offers the "Diva Like No Other" Sweepstakes in Celebration of MSC Divina

MSC Cruises is kicking off its “Diva Like No Other” sweepstakes today in anticipation of the arrival of MSC Divina in PortMiami in Fall 2013.

Through Nov. 2, 2012, agents are invited to visit at www.msccruisesdivina.com for a chance to win daily and weekly prizes by answering a series of questions about MSC Cruises’ newest ship, MSC Divina, named after her godmother, famed Italian actress, Sophia Loren.

When MSC Divina arrives in PortMiami to sail Caribbean itineraries, she will be the first of the line’s Fantasia class of ships to sail North American waters. A keystone of the Fantasia class is the MSC Yacht Club, a “ship-within-a-ship” concept featuring 24-hour Butler Service, select complimentary wines and spirits, and several private venues, including a panoramic restaurant, Top Sail Lounge, pool and relaxation area as well as private access to the Balinese-inspired MSC Aurea Spa.

·         Daily Prizes: Each week day, 10 lucky winners who correctly answered that day’s trivia question will receive 10 pairs of MSC’s “diva chic” sunglasses and a life-sized cutout of Divina’s celebrated icon, donning her characteristic red ensemble, reminding us of the glamour and grace of eras gone by.  *Runs through November 2nd.

·         Weekly Prizes: In addition, with each correct answer, participants are automatically entered into a drawing to win other prizes, such as an iPad.  *Runs through November 2nd.

·         Grand Prize:  Daily winners are invited to upload photos of themselves and others with the life-size Diva cutout. The travel agent who gets the most votes will win a 7-night Caribbean cruise in MSC Yacht Club’s Sophia Loren Royal Suite. *Voting for Grand Prize contest begins on Nov. 12 and ends Nov. 21st.

MSC Divina is the largest ship in the MSC Cruises fleet, with 1,751 staterooms hosting 3,502 guests (double occupancy). Guests can enjoy an Infinity Garden Pool and “beach zone” in the aft, with spectacular views of the ship’s wake, three restaurants and a Tex-Mex alternative dining restaurant, Aqua Park (with 150 fountains and water jets, whirlpools and pool bar), MSC Aurea Spa, children’s and teen areas, interactive 4-D Cinema, virtual Formula 1 auto racing, acclaimed international entertainment in the 1,603-seat Pantheon Theatre and much more.
