MSC Cruises Partners With Celebrity Chef Roy Yamaguchi

Yamaguchi will bring a specialty pan-Asian restaurant to the line's new ship, MSC Seaside, which will launch in December 2017, sailing year-round from Miami to the Caribbean. For the restaurant Yamaguchi will create recipes and menus, as well as select chinaware, music and wine. In addition to Yamaguchi's recipes the restaurant will also have a sushi, sashimi and raw bar, as well as a space with teppanyaki grills. 

Yamaguchi is the founder of 30 Roy’s Restaurants, including 28 in the United States, one in Guam and one in Okinawa, Japan. His accolades include the James Beard Award. Yamaguchi has also hosted six seasons of the television show "Hawaii Cooks with Roy Yamaguchi," seen in more than 60 countries. He has also published four culinary cookbooks.

The announcement follows MSC's other recent partnerships with famous chefs Carlo Cracco, Jean-Philippe Maury and Jereme Leung.
