NCL Taps Martinoli As President and COO

Norwegian Cruise Line has appointed Roberto Martinoli president and chief operating officer, a position that will entail responsibility for all aspects of fleet operations, including the construction of Norwegian Epic. He will report to Kevin Sheehan, NCL's CEO.

Prior to his appointment, Martinoli was working in Europe as advisor to Apollo Management, which has an ownership stake in NCL. Martinoli has more than 30 years experience in the shipping and cruise business, including roles as executive vice president, operations at Carnival Cruise Lines; senior vice president, operations at Costa Crociere and managing partner at Martinoli Group.
