MSC Cruises will have specially appointed VIP areas with butler service aboard its newest ships, MSC Fantasia and MSC Splendida, debuting in November 2008 and spring 2009, respectively. The butlers will provide assistance from check in to check out including services such as booking spa treatments and unpacking luggage. The ships will be the first in the fleet to have exclusive VIP areas. MSC Fantasia's area will be called the MSC Yacht Club and consist of 99 suites.
