SeaDream Yacht Club debuted its wine voyages last year, which turned out to be widely successful. This year the cruise line plans to launch eight wine voyages. These cruises will sail the Mediterranean and will be five to nine days long.

Guests will participate in wine tastings, a wine tasting class led by a reconginzed wine expert and there will be a tasting with a leading winemaker. The chef onboard will create a meal that complements the winemaker’s specific bottles. Additional, more casual, wine tastings will be held throughout the trip.

“Our extensive 2015 Wine Voyages build on this tradition by pairing legendary vineyards with expert instructors and winemakers to develop a truly one-of-a-kind experience on land and sea,” said Bob Lepisto SeaDream Yacht Club president.

SeaDream’s ships serve different dishes, including a full raw menu. During the cruise from Rome to Dubrovnik guests will be served wines from the Chaianti region. There will also be smaller tastings from the regions of Sicily, Puglia and Manduria.

Guy de Rivoire, the international export director of the Bollinger champagne house, will host the trip from Rome to Malaga, Spain. There will also be a special tasting menu on this trip, and passengers will visit the 1,500-acre estate of Château de Berne, Sanary-sur-Mer, the Cavas Recaredo winery. The estate is located in in Sant Sardurní d’Anoia, Spain.
