Norwegian Epic Reveals New Theatrical Entertainment on 2015 Voyages

Norwegian Cruise Line has announced a new entertainment line-up for Norwegian Epic, which will be based year-round in Barcelona, Spain, starting April 30, 2015. Two new Broadway shows will take the stage as headliners: Burn the Floor in April 2015 and Priscilla, Queen of the Desert - The Musical in October 2015. The ship will also have an all-new British pop music entertainment experience, The Cavern Club, bringing the legendary Liverpool venue where the Beatles performed to life at sea.

Burn The Floor will bring its ballroom dancing to Norwegian Epic with a new show specifically designed for European guests beginning on her trans-Atlantic voyage, April 19, 2015. “Ballroom Blitz,” including 14 dancers, a live band and two singers, is a new theatrical dance experience.

Based on the Oscar-winning movie, Priscilla Queen Of The Desert - The Musical comes to Norwegian Epic with over 500 costumes, 200 head-dresses and songs including “It’s Raining Men,” “I Will Survive” and “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun.” The show will open on the ship’s October 18, 2015 voyage.

Norwegian Epic will also receive a new entertainment venue created through a partnership with the owners of Liverpool’s The Cavern Club, the birthplace of British pop music. Norwegian will re-create The Cavern Club experience at sea, offering the sounds of The Beatles, along with other international musicians. The Cavern Club will debut on the October 11, 2015 sailing.
