Oceania Cruises Offers Artisan Enrichment Program Onboard Riviera

Oceania Cruises' Riviera doesn't just allow guests to admire art, it allows them to learn about it and create it themselves.

The floating art gallery, which houses a multi-million-dollar art collection  offers a fully equipped Artist Loft. From painting with watercolors to needlepoint, the enrichment program encourages guests to explore their interests with step-by-step instruction from talented resident artists.

Watercolorist Barbara Ashton will join Riviera's Lisbon to Rome itinerary, September 14-24.  While landscape artist Nan Hass Feldman will sail Riviera's 10-day Mediterranean Tapestry voyage May 16-26.

The Riviera allows guests the opportunity to  gain hands-on cooking experience in a range of classes, such as Oceania Highlights, Healthy Cooking, Emerging Cuisines, Favorite Pairings with Favorite Foods and Beyond Brie: the Innovative  Cheeses.

In addition to the onboard program, Riviera will debut Culinary Discovery Tours, which allow guests to explore local food markets, fish markets, cheese makers, chocolatiers and vineyards in groups with an expert chef.

In Barcelona, where Riviera is being christened on May 11, guests can enjoy a Spanish olive oil tasting, and shop at the Santa Caterina Market.
