Ponant Hosts Opera Festival at Sea

Compagnie du Ponant is hosting the 6th edition of the “Et Vogue L’Opera” festival onboard the 132-room L’Austral.

Passengers will be able to interact on board with artists such as Makvala Aspanidze, Patricia Fernandez, Delphine Haidan, Pauline Courtin, Jaques Lemaire, Jean-Francis Monovisin, Nigel Smith, Thomas Palmer, and Dominique Trottein.

The seven-night cruise from Venice to Athens takes place September 13-20, 2011, and is available for $3,166.92 USD per person. The itinerary calls on Piran, Slovenia; Torgir and Dubrovnik, Croatia; Kotor, Montenegro; and Carfu and Itea, Greece.

The cruise includes lectures given by Richard Martet, and daily concerts both on board and ashore in venues hired exclusively by Compagnie du Ponant.
