Ponant has named Navin Sawhney as the company's new CEO for the Americas.
Sawhney most recently led the Americas as COO, building growth both organically and through acquisitions by differentiating brands and increasing market share across multiple channels. Prior to his tenure with Ponant, his experience spanned brands such as Cunard, Royal Viking, Sea Goddess, Holland America and Tauck.
Ponant said Sawhney will continue to leverage the brand’s leadership position in expedition cruising, while forging strategic alliances with channel partners.
The move follow's Ponant's October 2015 acquisition by ARTEMIS Holding Company of the Pinault Family.
