North American travelers now can book sailings with Princess Cruises' sister company, P&O Cruises Australia. Itineraries for the sailings will be available on three ships: Pacific Sun, Pacific Star and the new Pacific Dawn, which will debut in November. Previously, P&O Australia's sailings were primarily for sale only in Australia and New Zealand, Princess said. "This arrangement will make booking a P&O Australia voyage nearly as easy as booking a Princess cruise," said Jan Swartz, Princess' senior vice president of customer service and sales. The 2,050-passenger Pacific Dawn, which previously sailed as the Regal Princess, will feature 10 seven- and 28-day roundtrip itineraries from Sydney. Pacific Sun will offer itineraries ranging from seven to 13 days from its homeport of Brisbane, as well as Sydney, while Pacific Star will sail seven- and 21-day itineraries from Brisbane and Auckland offering South Pacific island voyages and cruises between Australia and New Zealand.
