Regent Adds AVC to Council

February 2, 2009 By: George Dooley

America’s Vacation Center (AVC), a leading travel agency, reports it has been named by Regent Seven Seas Cruises as a Top Producer for 2008 and a member of the Regent Seven Seas Council. The council is an exclusive invitation-only organization of travel agencies that are selected to join by the cruise line.

“America’s Vacation Center continues to impress us not only with their overall success, but also by the integrity and professionalism of their elite network of Independent Affiliates,” said Mark Conroy, president of Regent Seven Seas Cruises. “The company is very deserving of this honor, and we look forward to expanding our partnership with them.”

AVC has a reputation for being customer-centric with a loyal following and is supported by a professional network of home-based, independently owned and operated affiliates.

Van Anderson, co-president of AVC, said AVC is respected in the industry for its Independent Affiliate network and is one of the top-producing travel agencies in the American Express Travel Representative Network. Recently, the company was named the Travel Agency of the Year by Carnival Cruises, Royal Caribbean, Oceania Cruises, MSC Cruises, and Norwegian Cruise Lines— an accomplishment no other travel agency has ever achieved, Anderson said.
