Regent Seven Seas Cruises plans another robust World Cruise in 2018, a 137-night "Navigate the World" voyage on the 490-passenger Seven Seas Navigator departing roundtrip from Los Angeles on January 8, 2018. The 38,528-nautical-mile sojourn will take a southerly route to explore five continents, 28 countries and 64 ports of call – including 28 UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
This is the second World Cruise for the luxury line after a lapse of several years of not offering these long global voyages. A 2017 World Cruise, also on Seven Seas Navigator, departs January 5, 2017 roundtrip from Miami.
Guests will receive complimentary and unlimited shore excursions as well as several complimentary shoreside experiences, including a pre-cruise gala at the Beverly Wilshire hotel in Los Angeles, dinner in the bush at the Zulu Nyala Private Game Reserve in Richards Bay, South Africa, and a tranquil visit to the Australian countryside with a visit and tasting at a local winery in Adelaide, Australia.
Full World Cruise guests will also receive such additional amenities as first-class air, door-to-door luggage service, a comprehensive visa package, unlimited laundry service, satellite phone time and onboard medical services.

Earlier this year, Seven Seas Navigator was the first Regent Seven Seas Cruises ship to be refurbished as part of a $125 million fleet-wide renovation project. Public spaces and suites were updated to feature the same elegant style and attention to detail expected for the line's newest ship, the soon-to-be-launched Seven Seas Explorer.

Unprecedented Itinerary
During the 2018 "Navigate the World" itinerary, Seven Seas Navigator will sail across the Pacific Ocean to Hawaii and then on to tropical French Polynesia, American Samoa and Fiji. Multiple stops will be made in New Zealand and Australia before the ship sets sail to Southeast Asia with calls in Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia. Following a transit of the Bay of Bengal, the vessel will call at Richards Bay, Durban, East London and Cape Town, South Africa.
Crossing the Atlantic Ocean, the ship will arrive in South America with stops in Uruguay, Argentina and Brazil. From there, Seven Seas Navigator will cruise the Caribbean Sea to Curacao and Aruba and then traverse the Panama Canal. Central American stops are planned for Costa Rica, Nicaragua and Guatemala before the vessel returns to Los Angeles on May 25, 2018.
Highlights of shoreside fun? Guests can visit the Sydney Opera House, Singapore Botanic Gardens, and Nicaragua's León Viejo ruins, a site preserving the original layout of the first cities founded by the Spaniards in the New World. In Malaysia, guests can journey to Kinabalu Park, Malaysia’s first World Heritage Site that boasts more than 5,000 vascular plant species and more than 90 lowland mammal species.
During the 2018 World Cruise, guests will receive a number of free unlimited shore excursions, valued at nearly $10,000 per person for all 64 ports of call. Among them are: a visit to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, a tour of Cape Town, South Africa, with wine tastings in the Stellenbosch wine district; a sightseeing tour that explores the temples, dance, cuisine, arts and crafts of Bali, Indonesia.
Regent Seven Seas Cruises' fares include all-suite accommodations, round-trip air, highly personalized service, acclaimed cuisine, fine wines and spirits, unlimited Internet access, sightseeing excursions in every port, all gratuities, and a pre-cruise luxury hotel package for those guests staying in concierge and higher suites. Beginning in summer 2017, Regent Seven Seas Cruises will also include Business Class air for all intercontinental flights
