Regent to Offer Two World Cruises in 2009

Regent Seven Seas Cruises will operate two world cruise itineraries in 2009, becoming the first luxury operator to offer "two global winter cruises" in the same year, the line claims. The 700-guest Seven Seas Voyager will entertain guests on a 116-night journey to the South Pacific, Orient, Arabia, the Mediterranean and Bermuda leaving January 12, while Seven Seas Mariner will kick its 121-night voyage off two weeks later, and visit South America and Russia, among other destinations. Per-person rates begin at $64,995, but reach over $220,000 for the entire itineraries. Segments can be purchased starting at $6,495. General bookings will begin being accepted September 21 of this year. Visit [www.rssc.com].
