legend of the seasRoyal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. has announced plans to sell Legend of the Seas to Thomson Cruises in spring 2017.

Richard D. Fain, chairman and chief executive officer of Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd., said in a release announcing the sale that the sale would promote the company’s objective of moderate capacity growth.
