Norwegian Cruise Line Opens Bookings for Second Cuba Ship

Starting today, new bookings to Cuba through Norwegian Cruise Line are available. The 2018 itineraries will be aboard Norwegian Sun, which will homeport in Port Canaveral starting next May. 

The all-inclusive four-day cruises to Cuba will depart Port Canaveral each Monday, beginning May 7, 2018, and will include a call at Key West, Florida, followed by an early morning arrival in Cuba’s capital city of Havana on Wednesday, allowing guests the opportunity to experience a full day and night of the historic city.

During the day gusts can explore Old Havana, a UNESCO World Heritage site, in an American classic car or check out some of Cuba’s most famed photographers and painters at the Fabrica de Arte Cubano. At night, guests can take in a show at the famous Tropicana Cabaret. Norwegian Sun’s new itinerary lets guests follow in Ernest Hemingway’s footsteps with a visit to The Ernest Hemingway Home & Museum in Key West’s historic Old Town District and Finca Vigía in the small town of San Francisco de Paula in Cuba.

Norwegian Sun accommodates 1,936 guests, and offers 16 dining options, 12 bars and lounges, entertainment options for all ages, and more. All guests sailing aboard one of Norwegian Sun’s Cuba or Bahamas cruises from Port Canaveral will also receive unlimited complimentary beverages included in their cruise fare as a part of the ship’s all-inclusive program.

To celebrate the ship's launch into Cuba, the company is offering the Norwegian’s Havana Nights. Guests will received $50 in free onboard spending money when they book a new cruise now through August 31, 2017 for 2018 Cuba sailings. Norwegian is also offering $50 deposits through August 7 on Cuban cruises.
