Scenic Cruises launched its sixth “Space-Ship,” Scenic Crystal. The ship boasts the company’s signature all-inclusive formula and a new feature called the Scenic “Sun Lounge.” Cabins offer sealable units that act as a vertical sliding door, converting from a private, open-air balcony to a fully weatherproof lounge with the touch of a button.
Scenic Crystal, which can host 169 passengers in 85 cabins, joins the line’s five other “Space-Ships,” the Scenic Pearl, Scenic Emerald, Scenic Sapphire, Scenic Diamond and Scenic Ruby. Every room features a queen-sized “Scenic Slumber Bed” complete with fine linens and a pillow menu. Other perks include private butler service in Junior and Royal Suites, an array of onboard entertainment, and private concerts in some ports. Scenic offers fully inclusive cruising, meaning that meals in a choice of three dining venues (served with complimentary premium wines, beers and soft drinks), tours, entertainment, airport transfers, gratuities and baggage handling are all included in the fare.
