Scenic Cruises Offers “Passau to the Danube Delta” Voyage

Next spring, guests of Scenic Cruises can take part in a new cruising itinerary between the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Danube Delta and Germany’s Passau, as well as spending two days exploring the Romanian capital of Bucharest. The Danube Delta to Passau River Cruise itinerary (and its reverse sailing) aboard a Scenic ‘Space-Ship’ includes a 14-night river cruise between Passau and Cernavodă and two hotel nights in Bucharest. The two sailings depart April 5 and 21, 2014 and are priced from $7,885 to $11,775 per person (double). Booking select cabins by Feb. 28, 2014 means $1,000 per person airfare credit or savings of $225 per person (depends on cabin level) on the April 5 sailing; and savings of $225 per person on the April 21 departure. 

During the voyage, guests can take part in “Scenic Enrich” activities. In Budapest, passengers are treated to a classical music concert at the majestic Gödöllõ Royal Palace; in the villages surrounding Osijek, guests are invited to share a traditional dinner in the home of a Croatian family. Through the “Scenic FreeChoice” program, included activities provide travelers with the flexibility to choose from a variety of pursuits that most interest them. In Budapest, they can discover the capital city of Hungary during a guided walking tour, relax at the Thermal Baths and Spa or explore the labyrinths of the Cave Hospital.

All Scenic Cruises itineraries are all-inclusive. It includes all tipping and gratuities, both on board any of Scenic Cruises’ luxury ‘Space-Ships’ and during shore excursions. 

Scenic Cruises also launched an Imperial Jewels of Russia itinerary that travels between Moscow and St. Petersburg aboard the Scenic Tsar. Between Moscow and St. Petersburg, guests visit the mainstream and the off-the-beaten-path including Uglich, Yaroslavl, Goritsy, Kizhi Island and Mandrogi. This 14-night sailing has departures in both directions between May and September at prices ranging from $7,530 to $11, 805 per person, double; early incentives include savings up to $800 per couple on select cabins when booked by Feb. 28, 2014.

Scenic Cruises' Scenic Gem is also sailing from Paris to Honfleur on an 11-day Gems of the Seine cruise. The itinerary can also be combined with the Southern France itinerary.
