Silversea Details Its World Cruise 2016

Silversea Cruises opened the books today on its World Cruise 2016, a 115-day sailing from Fort Lauderdale to Venice, departing Jan. 5, 2016. This exploration will be hosted aboard the all-suite Silver Whisper, enabling travelers to journey across six continents and visit 51 destinations in 31 countries, with 13 multi-day port calls along the way and many late-night departures.

Named "Venetian World Odyssey 2016," the voyage will follow a westward path from Fort Lauderdale through the Panama Canal to South America and the Pacific. Guests will explore the South Seas, including Easter Island, Pitcairn Island, Tahiti and Bora Bora before sailing to New Zealand, Australia and Asia, including Hong Kong and Singapore, Bali and Phuket and Myanmar. The odyssey will continue to India, Arabia and into the Mediterranean before concluding with two nights in Venice.

Guests will have access to an onboard enrichment program including destination experts, academics, journalists, diplomats and more. Local entertainment, cooking demonstrations, wine tastings and regional specialties will also be available.
