Silversea Cruises is launching a revamped entertainment program created for the company's ships by Choozi Entertainment.

The new concert-style concept will feature a cast of classically trained vocalists and musicians performing a celebration of music from Motown to opera to pop and rock. The cast and production team are headed by director and choreographer Christopher Childers and his sister, Suzanne Childers.

The new shows feature a blend of music that follows the decades and offers Silversea guests choices in their entertainment options. Here's a snapshot of the shows and their venues:

Show Lounge

Signed, Sealed, Delivered -- A look at Motown's songbook. The cast recreates the choreography with a contemporary feel.

High C's -- Classical music and arias take the stage, from Puccini to Verdi and the most popular songwriters of today, Hi C's give the classics a fresh twist in the same manner as Il Divo, Josh Groban, and Sarah Brightman.

Fabbalicious -- The music of ABBA is used as the cast recreates the original sound and iconic look of the '70s Swedish pop group. The show is designed to get the audience on their feet, singing and dancing along with the cast.

Pool Deck

Decades -- From Madonna to Lady Gaga, this deck party is a tongue-in-cheek look at pop music through the decades from glam rock, to electronica, to dance pop.

Panorama Lounge

In addition to headlining shows, performers on each ship will showcase the songbook of different composers or musicals in intimate, club-like settings, such as the Panorama Lounge. The musical selections currently planned are Lennon and McCartney, on Silver Cloud; Boublil and Schönberg, the creators of Miss Saigon and Les Misérables, on Silver Whisper; Billy Joel's songbook from the Tony Award-winning show Movin' Out, on Silver Wind; and today's newest musicals from the West End to Broadway, on Silver Shadow.

The new entertainment offerings are debuting on the Oct. 24 sailing of Silver Cloud, with additional shows opening this month on Silver Whisper, Silver Wind and Silver Shadow. The program will also be rolled out to Silver Spirit in March 2012.
