Oceania Cruises' Riviera will showcase over 1,000 works of art by some of Latin America's most accomplished contemporary artists. The ship's collection includes original works by artists from Cuba's Vaguard Movement, and works by internationally celebrated Cuban artists such as Wilfredo Lam, Cundo Bermudez, Rene Portocarrero and Servand Cabrera will displayed side-by-side with works by artists including Jose Grillo, Julio Larraz, Carlos Luna, Pierre Boncompain, Mexican painter Luis Zesatti, Peruvian artist Daniela Wicki and Catalonian master, Eduardo Arranz-Bravo.
Azamara Club Cruises has canceled the next voyage of the Azamara Quest, scheduled to to depart Singapore on April 12. The line is giving guests a full refund of their cruise fare plus a 30 percent credit off a future cruise. The ship was seriously damaged last week in a fire that occurred in one engine room off the coast of Borneo. Five crew members were injured, one seriously. No guests were injured; those guests have since been transported to Singapore, offered replacement land options or flown home.
Windstar Cruises unveiled the complete renovation of the line's three sailing yachts - Wind Star and Wind Spirit, each with a guest capacity of 148, and Wind Surf, welcoming 312 guests. All three yachts feature redesigned staterooms, owner's suites, corridors and public spaces. The Wind Star and Wind Spirit will also introduce a newly designed Veranda, lounge, pool bar, library, Wind Spa and The Restaurant, while the Wind Surf has seen renovations in The Restaurant, Degrees, Veranda, Compass Rose, Wind Spa, Yacht Club and Pool Bar.
