Port Canaveral's Cove Marketplace opened for its second season on Nov. 1, 2011 with over 40 new vendors available to the public. The newest addition this season is a green market featuring produce and plants. The season runs from now until April 2012, and features live performances from local artists. The Cove Marketplace is open from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. Mondays through Wednesdays and the first Saturday of the month.

Crystal Cruises appointed Karen Scott Caplice to district sales manager of its North American sales force. Caplice will be in charge of managing eastern Canada, including Ontario, Quebec and other eastern provinces. Caplice comes from Cruise Strategies, where she was director of business development and was affiliated with Seabourn, Silversea, Paul Gauguin, Windstar and others.

Silversea also had two additions to its corporate sales team in Maarten Tromp and Alexandra Stahl. Tromp is returning to Silversea as the U.K.'s director of corporate and incentive sales, a position he held previously from 2000 to 2008. He was most recently president of international sales at Compagnie du Ponant. Stahl has been an account manager in corporate and incentive sales since 2007, and has been promoted to corporate and incentive sales manager for parts of Europe.

Silversea also launched an all-new concert-style entertainment program headed by Choozi Entertainment. The program allows for different musical packages to be available aboard each of Silversea's ships, and will be featured in each of their Panorama Lounges.
