U by Uniworld, the new river cruise brand from Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection aimed at Millennial travelers, has announced a contest for travel agents to gain an exclusive spot on the brand’s first sailing, an invitation-only “Sneak Peak” U cruise setting sail October 7-11, 2017.
In a written release Uniworld President and CEO Ellen Bettridge said that the brand did not have enough space to accommodate the enthusiasm for the new brand, and so Uniworld opted for a contest for the preview sailing over a traditional fam trip.
Travel agent winners will sail on a Paris to Paris itinerary along with a by-invitation-only guest list of top social influencers and media, during which agents will get to experience the new brand’s onboard and onshore offerings.
To enter, travel agents ages 21-45 must create and post a 30 second video to the U by Uniworld Facebook page sharing how they are going to sell U, tagging #I’mGonnaSellU to their post. Uniworld’s internal Advisory Board will vote on the final winners from entries with the most likes on Facebook. Selected content will be featured on ubyuniworld.com.
Entries will be accepted now through August 15, 11:59PM. The voting process will take place between August 16-22, and the winners will be announced August 23.
