Vacation.com Offers 900 Sailings in 2009

Vacation.com members can choose from more than 900 sailings on eight leading cruise lines in 2009 through their Amenity Departure Dates program. The Amenity Departure Dates program gives member agents exclusive access to blocked group space on select sailings of Crystal Cruises, Cunard, Holland America Line, Princess Cruises, and Regent Silver Seas Cruises. Each departure includes special amenities at no additional cost, such as shipboard credits, complimentary meals at specialty restaurants and prepaid gratuities.

“We give our members many opportunities to stand out in today’s marketplace,” said Steve Tracas, Vacation.com’s president and CEO. “One of the best ways for agents to stand out is to offer incentives that their competitors cannot. That is exactly what Amenity Departure Dates provides for the clients of our Vcom members on hundreds of cruise departures.”

Amenity Departure Dates also allows Vacation.com members to offer their clients popular itineraries around the globe at competitive prices as a result of the blocked space acquired through the program. A sampling of Amenity Departure Dates in 2009 include:

*    On Crystal Cruises’ January 9, 10-day South America cruise, clients receive $200 per couple shipboard credit and prepaid gratuities.
*    On Holland America Line’s April 18, 18-day Winter/Spring Panama Canal Cruise, guests receive $150 per couple shipboard credit and a "Bon Voyage" bottle of champagne.
*    On Cunard’s April 8 and April 20, six-day Transatlantic Cruise, guests receive complimentary canapés and $150 per couple shipboard credit for inside/outside cabins or $300 per couple shipboard credit for balcony/grill cabins.
