Vacation.com Launches 2012 Culinary Collection Cruises

Culinary and cruise travel will get a new boost from Vacation.com's launch of its 2012 Culinary Collection which includes 32 unique food- and wine-themed cruises with worldwide departures.

The specific culinary-themed cruise experiences were chosen from some of Vacation.com’s luxury and premium cruise line partners, Vacation.com reports.

This includes: Celebrity Cruises, Crystal Cruises, Holland America Line, Oceania Cruises, Paul Gauguin Cruises, and Regent Seven Seas Cruises.

Clients booking a cruise from the collection will receive extra amenities at no additional cost while certain itineraries offer clients the services of a concierge host, an exclusive hosted shore event and a private cocktail reception.

“The Culinary Collection offers world-class cruising paired with a special focus on some of the best cuisines, wines and chefs in the world. The upscale sailings also offer additional savings and exclusive amenities for our clients,” said Vacation.com President John Lovell.

“Whether our clients are experienced epicureans, avid cruisers looking to learn how to cook and pair wines together, or just love local fare and are interested in excursions featuring food and wine, the Culinary Collection has something for those with discerning tastes," Lovell said.

The 2012 Culinary Collection features demonstrations from world-renowned chefs, cooking classes onboard and on shore, as well as wine and spirit tastings and meals focused on regional cuisine.
