Cruise lines are already looking ahead to next year with a slew of itinerary updates for 2017.

Sea Cloud Cruises has published its previews of its small sailing cruises for 2017 and opened bookings.

The windjammer Sea Cloud will cruise the eastern and western Mediterranean and Adriatic, while its sister ship, Sea Cloud II, will spend most of its summer, apart from a short side trip in the Mediterranean, in northern and western European waters. Various routes to the Baltic States and St. Petersburg, Scandinavia, Great Britain and the French Atlantic coast are all in the program. Before the transatlantic crossing sends both ships to their winter quarters, guests can extend their European summer with trips to Morocco and the Canary Islands.

Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection has released its 2017 Asia Cruises and Tours in India, China, Vietnam and Cambodia.

For 2017, Uniworld will be using only all-suite ships in Asia, said Uniworld President Guy Young. The river cruise line will introduce the all-suite Mekong Navigator in Vietnam and Cambodia, and in China, it will provide Executive Suites on the Century Legend. In India, Uniworld will offer itineraries on the newly inaugurated all-suite Ganges Voyager II.

In other luxury cruise news, Silversea Expeditions has announced a new lineup of Wellness Expedition Voyages offered aboard Silver Discoverer for 2016 and 2017. The new theme cruises are designed to offer guests the opportunity to improve their well-being while visiting ports in Southeast Asia, Australia, Oceania, Africa, and the Indian Ocean.

Silversea has partnered with wellness and fitness company Technogym on a program that includes stretching, yoga, and Pilates classes held on board and ashore (depending on location) and fitness classes conducted in the ship's onboard swimming pool, as well as daily lectures and cooking demonstrations on the benefits of healthy and balanced nutrition. Guests also get the choice of one complimentary spa massage treatment and gym sessions with a personal trainer.

A dedicated team of wellness specialists will accompany guests on these itineraries, including fitness lifestyle expert Natasha Eksteen, yoga instructor Jenni Kauppila, and nutritionist Dalila Roglieri.

Finally, Norwegian Cruise Line has announced its summer 2017 deployment for Europe that, for the first time, has five ships sailing in European waters in the summer season. Highlights of the new itineraries include cruises to the Baltic capitals on Norwegian Getaway from Copenhagen and a first ever complete season from Hamburg on Norwegian Jade, with embarkation for those cruises also available in the UK and Amsterdam. In addition to the European sailings, Norwegian also released details on Norwegian Escape’s 2017 summer cruises to the Caribbean from Miami.
