Magna CartaWorld Luxury Cruise Vacations is tailoring its cruises for family travel. Among its top selections are trips through the Rhine, the Galápagos and the River Thames.

Starting at $1,899, the seven-night cruise includes a river-view stateroom, a ship tour with the captain and visits to the Technik Museum in Speyer and the Siegfried Mechanical Music Museum in Rudesheim. On the ship, en route to the Chocolate Factory Museum in Cologne, kids can take German classes and make their own desserts in an onboard cooking class with the pastry chef,  in addition to playing games or watching movies in the Playstation room. On land, they can take a walking tour in Koblenz, have some ice cream and go on a scavenger hunt. Departing from Strasbourg, an optional trip to Europa-Park in Rust, Germany, will be available for purchase on board.

In a partnership between WLC and Metropolitan Touring, the new Young Pirates program was created for Galápagos Explorers between the ages of seven and 12. Offered on the Santa Cruz's three-night Galápagos Islands cruise (starting at $1,500 per person), the Isabela II's four-night Galápagos cruise (starting at $2,143 per person), and the La Pinta's seven-night luxury Galapagos islands cruise (starting at $4,656 per person), amenities are tailor-made for younger guests. Kids can take advantage of earlier dinner hours and tailored menus such as a kids continental breakfast. Each kid will receive a Journal of Expedition and a Young Pirates booklet.
