YTB Receives Carnival's Pinnacle Award

YTB International reports that YTB Travel Network has received Carnival Cruise Lines' "Pinnacle Award" for the fourth consecutive year. The award recognizes the agency as one of the top marketers of the "Fun Ship" vacation experience.

"Our long and enjoyable relationship with Carnival is very important to YTB, and we are honored to have been selected to receive this Award again. YTB will continue to work hard to meet the high standards expected by Carnival," said YTB Travel Network's President Kim Sorensen.

YTB Co-CEO Scott Tomer added, "YTB is committed to the sale of travel through our network of independent agents, and this award is a tribute to their efforts."

The Pinnacle Award program was created by Carnival Cruise Lines to acknowledge those high-volume travel agencies that meet a certain sales criteria and exhibit excellence in promoting and selling the Carnival product.

"Travel agencies are an important part of our distribution system, which is why we created the 'Pinnacle Club.' We want to recognize agencies like YTB Travel Network," said Carnival's Vice President of Worldwide Sales, Joni Rein.

Goes to show that facts aren’t important to some. Another person hiding behind his initials taking a shot at two well known Leaders: Carnival and YTB. Again if you are looking for a solid home business in Travel. Go to www.ytb.com/ccjriggs or email me at ytbcomments@ccjriggs.com and get the facts. Then make an informed decision.

The majority of Carnival sales are to themselves. Basically, rebating to themselves. Which stinks. Carnival is the only cruise line left at the trailer park price point for them to sell. Add to that YTB is their Carnival reps biggest client so of course they are going to get it. It's meaningless anyway. YTB is a scam. Plain and simple. I have seen so many violations to the CA AG settlement it isn't funny. It won't be long before they are hauled back into court again. The next time they won't be so lucky.
