Silver Airways Starts Service Between Fort Lauderdale and Santiago, Cuba

Silver Airways has started regularly scheduled commercial air service between Fort Lauderdale and Santiago, Cuba, marking the launch of the airline’s fifth of nine Cuba destinations.

Silver is currently the only U.S. airline providing regularly scheduled service to Santiago, the second largest city in Cuba and a center of economic development in the eastern part of the country.

Silver currently operates flights from Fort Lauderdale to Santa Clara, Camaguey, Cienfuegos, Holguin, and Santiago.

Flights to four more Cuba cities are also starting soon and are currently available for sale at www.silverairways.com, including Cayo Coco on November 19, Varadero on December 2, Manzanillo on Dec. 16, 2017 and Cayo Largo in early 2017.

Silver Airways, which operates more routes within Florida, and between Florida and The Bahamas than any other airline, is now selling flights on more routes between the U.S. and Cuba than any other airline, according to a Silver Airways news release.
