November 8, 2007 By: Travel Agent Central Contributor Travel Agent

The Prague Renaissance Hotel recently debuted as the new Hilton Prague Old Town, following a complete refurbishment.

David Collins, known for his work on The London, NYC and Claridge’s Hotel, restored the hotel’s public spaces and restaurant, while interior designer Alexandra Champalimaud, who worked on the Boca Raton Resort & Club and New York’s Carlyle Hotel, oversaw the interior renovation. The 300-room property saw the addition of 15 new suites and a Presidential Suite, as well as a redesigned reception area, lobby and cocktail bar. In fact, celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay made his Prague debut with the opening of his British restaurant, Maze, at the hotel.

Hilton Prague Old Town’s general manager is Remco Norden. He can be contacted at +420-221-822-100 or [email protected]. The hotel pays a 10 percent commission.

This is the eighth Hilton property in the Czech Republic. “It reinforces our focus on this key market and is without a doubt an exciting addition to our international portfolio,” said Wolfgang M. Neumann, president of Hilton Hotels in Europe. Visit
