In the last year, we’ve seen some notable Caribbean hotel chains revamp their wedding packages and now Club Med has become the latest.
Travel Agent sat down with representatives of Imagine Weddings and Events on Friday to discuss their recent partnership with Club Med to offer wedding packages at six Club Med properties.
Those properties are the Sandpiper, which is in Florida; Punta Cana; Cancun; Ixtapa Pacficia; Columbus Isle in The Bahamas and Turkoise, which is in Turks and Caicos.
Only one wedding has taken place so far as part of the new package but the Imagine folks told us roughly 12 more are booked with Cancun and Punta Cana serving as the setting for the majority of them.
The package is $4,200 and includes a personal wedding coordinator and anything else a bride and groom need on their wedding day from music to bouquets to a wedding cake and more. However, the marriage license is not included. Agents receive a commission based on rooms.
