Costa Rica Just 4 U is improving the capabilities of its website by adding an online reservation tool for services where availability is guaranteed, an online payment tool, an improved secure server, a web security certificate and a strategic alliance with the biggest bank in Costa Rica which makes it possible to receive all major credit cards online. This new system will be launched December 15.
Costa Rica Just 4 U has also decided to join ASTA as an Allied Member. The affiliation will strengthen the company's credentials, as it is also a member of ACOPROT, CANATUR and ICT (all local Costa Rican Tourism agencies and boards)
The Costa Rican tourism authorities have announced that they will eliminate the 3 percent hotel tax and replace it by charging a $15 fee on all airplane tickets issued to Costa Rica. This will ultimately benefit travelers as this $15 tax is much less than what they would have to spend on the previous 3 [ercent tax in each hotel night they spend during their stay in Costa Rica. This new tax system should begin as soon as the law is signed, which is expect to take place before year’s ending.
