Disney Offers Alternatives for Clients Booking a Vacation Package

Disney’s 2009 Free Birthday admission campaign has created a great amount of interest from potential clients, with more than 275,000 guests already registered to get in free to a Disneyland Resort or Walt Disney World theme park on their birthday in 2009. To ensure clients receive the best value possible, Disney has developed a series of ticket alternatives associated with the Free Birthday campaign that help travel agents recommend the best package to suit client needs.

“Our 2009 campaign is stimulating a great deal of interest to celebrate birthdays next year at a Disney Destination, so agents will want to familiarize themselves with our free-on-your-birthday offer as well as the three alternative options available to clients booking packages,” said Sharon Siskie, vice president of travel industry sales for Disney Destinations.

Clients booked on a vacation package including multi-day tickets can choose one of the following birthday treats instead:

•    A birthday fun card, with a value equivalent to their Free Birthday Ticket, which is valid only on their date of birth. The fun card can be used in the theme parks for merchandise, Disney’s PhotoPass on-site services and recreation activities.
•    A Special Birthday Fastpass ticket which provides four Fastpass entitlements to select attractions for every person in the birthday party (maximum of six guests per party).
•    A One Day/One Park Ticket that can be used anytime in the next 12 months from the client’s date of birth. This ticket may be used by the birthday celebrant only.

Travel agents should be sure to have their clients register at DisneyBirthdayTreats.com to help expedite the process for receiving any of these special options. Clients make the selection of these options once they arrive at the Theme Park of their choice.
