Distinguished Restaurants of North America Introduces 2009 Restaurant Guidebook

The non-profit Distinguished Restaurants of North America (www.dirona.com) has introduced its 2009 pocket-size guidebook, which has information on more than 200 member restaurants, divided up by country and state, including the web address and phone number. Member restaurants also have copies of the practical reference tool. To ensure the best dining experience, dirona's independent inspectors explore nominated restaurants across the U.S., Canada and Mexico to find those worthy of the organization’s distinction. Restaurants are graded on food, wine, service, physical property and decor. Eligible establishments also have to be in operation and under the same ownership for a minimum of three years.
