SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (AP) — The Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum is offering families a break from Black Friday stress with "Fun Frosty Friday" on Nov. 25.

At the presidential library, there will be an appearance by Santa Claus and free activities from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be face painting, games, balloon art and a life-sized Candyland game.

Hot chocolate and cookies will accompany Hot Wheels race cars, coded messages to Santa and a reading of "'Twas the Night Before Christmas."

The library will have an "angel tree" for Sojourn Shelter, which aids victims of domestic violence. Visitors may pick a decoration off the tree listing items the shelter needs.

At the presidential museum, families will get two admissions for the price of one.
