Hyatt Regency Monterey Nears Completion of Room Renovation

Hyatt Regency Monterey in northern California will soon reach another milestone in an extensive $45 million, three-phase transformation. The renovation began last year with the complete redesign of the lobby, lounge and restaurant. It currently encompasses the makeover of all guest rooms and suites and the hotel projects January 8, 2008, as the date when only renovated rooms will be available to guests. By the end of May 2008, the renovations to all 575 guest rooms, including 32 suites, will be finished. Guest room furnishings include Hyatt's signature Grand Beds, 32-inch plasma high-definition TVs with On-Command video system and Internet capability, alarm clocks with iPod docks, cordless phones, and wireless Internet access.
