Kimpton Hotels is taking over management of The MUSE Hotel in New York's Times Square. The hotel will continue to operate while undergoing a $5 million enhancement. "New York has been a key target market for Kimpton, and The MUSE's premium offerings and ideal Times Square location provide a welcome alternative to the larger conference hotels or trendy, yet non-functional, boutiques in this area," said Joe Long, Kimpton's executive vice president of acquisitions and development. The addition marks Kimpton's second property in the Big Apple joining 70 Park Avenue, which opened in 2004.
