Las Brisas Revamps

Las Brisas Acapulco is one of Acapulco's bright spots, and a major venue for glittering parties during the annual, upcoming Tianguis Turistico travel trade show. The 263-casita resort, a member of The Leading Hotels of the World, is celebrating its 50th anniversary with the completion of a multi-million dollar renovation highlighted by an ambitious enhancement of its high-end casitas and suites. The $15 million project includes a major overhaul of the 28 suites overlooking Acapulco Bay. Rooms have views over Acapulco Bay

Renovation supply the high-end suites and casitas with such amenities as 24-hour Brisas Express Service and private pools with indoor/outdoor access.

The unique style of the resort, which has more than 200 private pools, is one of its key draws. "Most of the rooms have phenomenal views because the hotel is built on the side of a mountain overlooking AcapulcoBay and downtown Acapulco," says Robert Blumberg, managing director, Brisas Hotels and Resorts.
