Las Vegas to Host March Madness, Spring Break and More

This March, Las Vegas will be a hot spot for viewing parties, conventions, sporting events and the highly-anticipated pool season kick-off. 

Las Vegas will host four National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) basketball conference tournaments as part of March Madness, including the West Coast Conference (WAC), Mountain West Conference (MWC) and Pacific Athletic Conference (PAC 12).

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas’ Belmont Ballroom will transform into a sports lounge offering guests luxury basketball viewing experiences March 16-March 17. Fans can also enjoy basketball during Hoops at Caesars Palace, when the property lines its ballroom with big screen televisions. Additional viewing parties will be available at Flamingo Las Vegas, Stratosphere Casino, Hotel & Tower, Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, SLS Las Vegas and more. 

Wet Republic at MGM Grand and Rehab Beach Club at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino will welcome spring breakers and party-goers back starting March 10. Guests can also enjoy the Marquee Dayclub inside The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, opening March 17.

Las Vegas will also host several major conventions, meetings and trade shows throughout the month of March. Some conventions include Globalshop at Mandalay Bay Convention Center, ASD Las Vegas, Nightclub and Bar Show, and the International Pizza Expo

As one of the busiest months in Vegas, March of 2016 welcomed more than 3.7 million visitors to Sin City. Visitation is expected to grow again this year. 

Other March events include: NASCAR Weekend, USA Sevens international rugby tournament, and Big League Weekend at Cashman Field with World Series Champs, the Chicago Cubs
