Los Cabos Welcomes Increased Airlift in 2012

The Los Cabos Convention & Visitors Bureau announced Monday the launch of several new non-stop flights to San Jose del Cabo International Airport (SJD) from Orange County California (SNA) and Chicago, Illinois (ORD).

In December, AirTran Airways announced its intent to launch new non-stop service to Los Cabos from Orange County, effective as of June 3. AirTran's new flight service to Los Cabos will be available once daily, seven times per week. Customers can begin booking travel for this new flight immediately.

Frontier Airlines' new non-stop service to Los Cabos from Chicago will be available once per week on Saturdays. The new flights compliment existing Frontier Airlines service from Denver, Colorado (DEN) and Kansas City, Missouri (MCI). Frontier Airlines began its new route on February 11.

Residents of Canada can take advantage of increased airlift from Sunwing Airlines, WestJet and Air Canada . All three carriers feature non-stop service from a variety of Canadian airports, including Calgary, Edmonton, Kelowna, Montreal, Regina, Toronto, Vancouver and Winnipeg.
