LOT Polish Airlines Adds Los Angeles Flights to Warsaw

polish airlinesLOT Polish Airlines has announced the launch of new nonstop flights from Los Angeles to Warsaw starting in April 2017.

The flights will operate on Boeing 787 Dreamliners four times per week, and will be the first direct connection from the West Coast to Poland. LOT’s Dreamliners will fly from Los Angeles on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. These flights to Warsaw will take less than 12 hours, enabling LOT to ensure the shortest trip from the West Coast to many destinations in Poland and other countries in the eastern and central Europe. Tickets are now available.

On April 28, 2017, LOT will re-introduce its service between Warsaw and Newark on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. As of June 2017, a Tuesday flight will be added. Connections will be available to dozens of destinations, especially in central and eastern Europe. The Newark-Warsaw flights will be initially operated by the rented Boeing 767-300 in two travel classes: Business Class and Economy class. Beginning in August the route will be operated by the Boeing 787 Dreamliner with a three-class configuration: LOT Business Class, LOT Premium Economy and LOT Economy. Flights from JFK will continue to be operated daily in addition to the Newark flights.

LOT has been implementing a growth strategy since early 2016. The airline has launched 23 new connections in total, including the first direct Warsaw-Seoul flight to be inaugurated on October 17.
