Louisville, Kentucky, to Host New Bourbon Festival

In celebration and honor of the state of Kentucky, as well as bourbon, Danny Wimmer Presents has announced it will host the first Bourbon & Beyond, a festival taking place on Saturday, September 23 and Sunday, September 24, 2017, in Louisville, Kentucky.

The festival will be a combination of a bourbon festival, a food festival and a music festival including master distillers, Michelin-starred chefs, world-class musicians, and other craftsmen and craftswomen.

In addition to Kentucky bourbons, Bourbon & Beyond will also partner with local chefs and restaurants to provide guests with new experiences. A variety of immersive bourbon experiences, interactive workshops and culinary demonstrations will be on offer throughout the weekend. Additional nighttime events and tours will be available, as well as pre- and post-festival happenings extending into Louisville and the greater Kentucky area.

Bourbon & Beyond's goal is to “produce the finest festival worthy of the finest spirit.” With a history that dates back nearly to the founding of the country, bourbon is a congressionally-designated distinctive product of the United States and is the only spirit to earn such protection. The "Bourbon" in Bourbon & Beyond is meant to “unite the world together to celebrate the legacy and innovation of the spirit”, while the "Beyond" represents an inclusive approach and expansive vision in creating the new festival, organizers said.

Danny Wimmer Presents has been producing concerts and festivals since 1993. The company’s goal is to create memorable and all-encompassing festival experiences for guests and continues to add new music festivals to its portfolio, including Rock On The Range, Monster Energy Aftershock Festival, Monster Energy Welcome To Rockville, Monster Energy Carolina Rebellion, Louder Than Life, Monster Energy Rock Allegiance and Chicago Open Air, among others.
