Luxury Property in Oman Opens after Major Revamp

The Al Bustan Palace InterContinental Muscat in Oman has reopened following a major renovation. The work included a revamp of the lobby, beach and garden area, sports facilities and the majority of the guest rooms and suites. The hotel will also feature an international concept restaurant VUE by Shannon Bennett, the first restaurant outside Australia for the chef.

The hotel’s design blends traditional Oman motifs with contemporary accents utilizing mother of pearl, gold leaf, Thai silk, glass, colored stones, marble, crystal and hand carved wood. The hotel has 50 suites with butler service. Each of the hotel’s 20 butlers have been certified by Australian butlers. The property claims to be the only hotel in Oman to offer butler service.

The Al Bustan Palace InterContinental Muscat is located five miles from the city of Muscat. Oman is on the southeast coast of the Arabian Peninsula and borders the United Arab Emirates on the northwest, Saudi Arabia on the west and Yemen on the southwest.
