Nobu, the chef behind the famous Japanese restaurants bearing his name, is coming to Hawaii. Nobu Waikiki will open to the public on May 28 at the Waikiki Parc Hotel, as the first Nobu restaurant in Hawaii. The opening of Nobu comes on the heels of a guest room and public space renovation at the 297-room property, which wrapped up at the end of last year. Patricia Tam, vice president of hotels and resorts of Halekulani, says the restaurant perfectly blends into the hotel's décor and environment.
