Pacific Asia Leisure's five-night "Palawan Adventure" tour explores the tropical eco-tourism destination of Palawan, located in the remote Western Visayas section of the Philippines. The tour begins in the Manila at the Dusit Thani Hotel where guests can choose a day of rest or take an optional half day city tour.
The first full-day of the itinerary starts with breakfast, before heading to Puerto Princesa in Palawan. The Palawan adventure begins at the Iwahig Prison and Penal Farm, commonly known as the "prison without walls." This penitentiary allows inmates to tend to farms instead of idly spending time behind bars. In the afternoon, travelers spend time interacting with wildlife at the Palawan Wildlife Rescue and Conservation Center, which preserves and conducts further studies on endangered species of crocodiles as well as maintains a mini-zoo. Before spending the first of three nights at the Legend Hotel Palawan, the tour visits the Palawan Museum, a repository of the islands history and artifacts. The next morning, guests spend the whole day on an adventure through mountains and forest, as well as the world's longest underground river, Subterranean River National Park. The final day in Palawan tours the beaches of Honda Bay for swimming, snorkeling and scuba diving. Journey back to Manila for a final night in at the Dusit Thani Hotel, where visitors can spend the evening at leisure or enjoy a night tour featuring a cultural show and Filipino-style dinner.
